Poncho "Chacabuco" Creole Loom

Poncho "Chacabuco" , is part of the Collection "INDEPENDENCE" of 16 Wayno textile works.

The poncho is a unique piece woven by hand with sheep wool threads on a Creole loom , it is a high-density fabric with a closed and light weft.

On a horizontal cloth on a loom we design the work on a Creole loom with fiber spun by hand.

It is the work of a family of artisans who literally contribute to the care of our traditions and culture.

On this work, there is also the work of llama and sheep breeders, they are families that participate in the value chain of this poncho.

In each work "a story" and this poncho has 35 days of loom work with much love and dedication from many artisans
