"Alcorta" Blanket Alpaca Threads on Creole Loom

ALCORTA is part of the "Argentina Adentro" Collection and is a unique piece woven by hand with alpaca threads made on a Creole loom.

On a horizontal loom cloth we design the work, the natural "Cement" color and light blue and white endpapers.

It is a fine and light density fabric, with a closed weft.

It is the work of a family of artisans who literally collaborate to care for our traditions and knowledge.

On top of this work, there is also the work of producers who breed alpacas, llamas and sheep, they are families that participate in the value chain of making this blanket.

In each work "a story" and this textile has 20 days of loom work with much love and dedication of artisans
